With days left until Election Day, New York liberals are melting down over a last-minute campaign appearance put in by imperiled Republican Rep. Mike Lawler.

In an effort to highlight his successful, almost superhuman efforts to ensure a tax cut for his constituents with regard to SALT (state and local) tax treatment in the One Big, Beautiful Bill, Lawler put in a stint earlier this week at the McDonald's drive-through.

Quipped Lawler, "the extra SALT is in the bag."

You can check out all the highlights here:

But if you thought the Lawler McDonald's gig drove a message, was cute, funny, or just good social content, well... it turns out you're not a lib.

As soon as Lawler's stint at McDonald's began, so did the head-exploding conniption fits from roving gangs of online lefties eager to take out Lawler– one of the most in-jeopardy Republicans who thus far has run a much better race making him appear safer than the majority of his colleagues who are also in "toss-up" territory.

Mega-underwhelming-NY-Gov. Kathy Hochul's press team weighed in referring to Lawler as a "kid get[ting] into the Halloween spirit."

NYC DSA blogger and Zohran Mamdani fanboy Michael Lange got in on the action, suggesting the appearance was an automatic failure because one of Lawler's customers pointed out that the wrong order bag had been passed along. SICK BURN, BRUH!!!

Ultra lib Molly Jong-Fast, she with the husband who has had approximately 20,000 COV-19 vaccines, compared the appearance to an episode of Veep.

Meanwhile, lib veteran Paul Rieckhoff– remember him from 2006 and 2008, when he was on every MSNBC segment under the Sun boosting Dems as they sought to retake Congress and the White House– was especially triggered by Lawler's McDonald's gig, melting down about it not just on X (in a post that felt fully scripted by Borat), but even on CNN's Erin Burnett Out Front. Cue the footage:

And the post:

Meanwhile, ads across the district continue to focus on the issue of Lawler challenger Democrat Cait Conley being a Virginia, not a New York, resident.

How's that for "bullshit theatrics," Paul?
