Taco Bell CEO Sean Tresvant breathed a sigh of relief this morning after learning the FDA had only just begun its inspection of Taylor Farms facilities following a major outbreak of cyclosporiasis that has been blamed on the company.

Crimson Comedy Club received multiple anonymous tips from administrative and support staff at the fast food giant’s Irvine, California, headquarters.

According to all of our sources, Tresvant was seen breathing a deep sigh of relief as he read this weekend’s report from [ABC News](https://x.com/ABC/status/2088622312878641313?ref=thecrimsonhub.com).

Tresvant is reportedly thrilled that, finally, a corporate player other than Taco Bell will be blamed for widespread diarrhea among the American public.

For years, the “Mexican” food chain has walked a delicate line between overreliance on Grade D meat and the risk of losing customers should it be forced to raise the price of a Cheesy Gordita Crunch above $5.99\.

The addition of rice to what, in the 1990’s, was a plain Bean and Cheese Burrito infamously forced a price hike above 59 cents, but it also came with added protection against full-scale explosive diarrhea, thanks to the binding properties of the rice. The Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito now comes in at a full $2.29, however, showing the perils of discount meal pricing in a tough economy.

In a bit of additional gossip, Tresvant is said to have privately commented to Taco Bell CFO Neil Manhas at the water cooler last week that if the cyclosporiasis wave continues long enough, the use of “Taco Bell” colloquially to mean “a laxative,” something “cheap, low-quality, or fake,” or a “late-night, impulsive or questionable choice” might dissipate.

Tresvant is also said to be hopeful the cyclosporiasis outbreak could ultimately help lift the share price of Taco Bell parent, Yum! Brands against that of salad purveyor Sweetgreen—or even block rival Chopt from ultimately seeking an IPO.

Crimson Comedy Club reached out to Tresvant, Manhas and Taco Bell’s media relations team for comment, but none was provided prior to publication.

One member of administrative staff granted anonymity to speak candidly told us that none of those individuals was likely to be free to reply to our request, as they’d been locked in the bathroom all night and into the morning hours after a dash to the main Irvine location to pick up some Pepper Jack Steak Nacho Fries at 3 am, following a long call about the Taylor Farms FDA inspection with Taco Bell board members.
